Arranging an appointment

Online booking is simple and convenient: you can select a date and time that is suitable for you from our appointment calendar. Once you book your consultation, you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your appointment.

What will happen during my appointment?

The consultation usually takes about 30 minutes and it consists of a foot and gait assessment. Our specialist will also talk to you about your symptoms and your requirements, and they will answer any questions that you may have about orthotic insoles. During your appointment, we will take impressions of your feet, using a special orthotic impression foam box. You will be asked to place your feet inside the foam box and our specialist will take a cast of your feet. This cast will later be used to prepare your pair of orthotic insoles.

Our consultant will also use foot impression sheets to determine your foot type and pressure areas on your feet. You will be asked to step on special paper to leave your foot imprint. The imprint will allow us to identify the vulnerable areas on your feet that may need additional support or protection.

Our specialist will then discuss your symptoms and any specific requirements that you may have. We will ask which areas of your feet and legs are affected by pain and discomfort, how much time you spend on your feet every day and if you require orthotic insoles for any particular type of footwear (e.g. jogging shoes or work shoes). We will also address any questions or concerns that you may have regarding custom-made orthotic insoles.

What happens next?

In the case you decide to order your custom insoles, the specialist will use the orthotic assessment results and will handmade your insoles in our shop. It takes us around 10 working days to prepare a pair of insoles. As our insoles are handcrafted after a thorough foot and gait analysis, we are able to prepare custom orthotics that are perfectly matched to you and your requirements. We will inform you when your insoles are ready to be collected, or we can deliver them to you if you prefer.
